    Ziploc bags, binders and non-schoolwork-type items (napkins, plastic utensils, etc.).

    I agree, binders are very expensive. Multi-subject notebooks are expensive too.

    binders! My one son starts 7th this year, and it seems like ever teacher wants them to have a different one! LOL :)

    I have to agree, binders. The kids all need different sizes and want different features... they won't settle for just a simple binder... grrrr...
